Pairwise Refund Policy

1. General Refund Guidelines

Pairwise operates on a pay-as-you-go virtual currency model, utilizing digital tokens known as "Stars". We do not utilize recurring subscription models. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you have been billed in error or have experienced a critical issue with the delivery of your digital Stars, please contact our support team to review your case.

2. The Nature of Virtual Currency ("Stars")

Stars are a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to use certain in-app features. They have no real-world monetary value. Stars cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged for fiat currency or any other asset of value.

• Basic & Gift Stars: Promotional or introductory Stars have expiration dates and will be removed from your account balance at the end of the calendar month if unused.
• Purchased Stars: Deducted after Gift and Basic Stars are exhausted.

3. Delivery of Digital Content (UK and EU Users)

Consumer protection laws in the United Kingdom and the European Union generally grant consumers a 14-day "cooling-off" period (Right of Withdrawal) for online purchases. By initiating a purchase of Stars on the Pairwise platform, you explicitly consent to the immediate delivery and performance of the digital content.

4. Processing a Refund Request

If you experience an issue such as duplicate billing due to a technical error or a failure of delivery where Stars are never credited to your Pairwise account after a successful charge, we are here to help.

Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis by the Pairwise Support team. To initiate a review, please contact us with proof of purchase and a detailed explanation of the error.

5. Account Termination and Policy Violations

If your Pairwise account is suspended, terminated, or permanently banned by our moderation team for violations of our Terms of Service (e.g., fraud, harassment, explicit content, under-age usage), you immediately forfeit all accumulated Stars.

6. Fraud and Disputes

We take financial fraud very seriously. If you experience a billing issue, we strongly encourage you to contact Pairwise support to resolve the technical error before contacting your bank. We reserve the right to provide usage logs to our payment processor to assist in the resolution of any billing disputes.

7. Third-Party Marketplace Purchases

If you purchased Stars through a third-party application store (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store), your transaction is governed by the refund policies of those respective platforms. SPECTRUMWISE LTD cannot process refunds for transactions made through Apple or Google. You must contact their respective support teams directly.
